Maik Dele Dittrich Frydetzki is an artist and cultural researcher. Dey works as a performer, director, dramaturge, and artistic director of theater/performance projects and festivals. Their work focuses on reflecting on post-East German heritage, queer feminist perspectives, and solidarity-based, collective work practices. Since April 2022, they has been pursuing their doctorate on (non-)consensual modes of communication in artistic rehearsal processes, particularly with regard to the representation of intimacy and sex, as well as the role of intimacy coordination in theater and film. Mike studied applied theatre, media and cultural studies in Hildesheim, Giessen and Warsaw.
