CRUIXING ZINE

You are invited to wander through objects, texts and images of a messy and incomplete theirstory of longing for queer public sex and pleasure. The makers would like to thank the following artists, who generously contributed to this archive by sharing their takes on possible forms of cruixing: Adrian Piper, Andy Warlord, Archie Bongiovanni, Cassils, Cyd Loverboy, Sid Blakovich, Dean Sameshima, Del LaGrace Volcano, Elias Kosanke, Emma Wolf-Haugh, Frankie Evans, Jamal Phoenix, Jiz Lee, Krista Beinstein, Laurie Essig, Paul B. Preciado, Phyllis Christopher, Rory Midhani, Saira B and Tina Kaden.
The zine is themed by several interventions in (sub)urban spaces, that aim to mark the queer potential for non-binary pleasures yet to be realized. The makers of the zine documented their practices and invite you to follow their traces through the zine: You can find images of sex performances, that are reenactments of poses of (cis) gay cruising culture in urban and remote areas. You will see a HOT PINK RIBBON on many pages, with which places with cruixing potential were flagged.
This zine was created for your visual, imaginary and sensitive pleasure. It invites you to delve into the unashamed space making and -taking of horny and lusty queers. If you like what you see consider buying artworks from the artists involved or offering the zine as a gift to potential pleasure partners to support the work of creating fantasies and holding space for the yet unknown to come closer...
